How Does a Thickness Planer Work?

The cutting of the width and thickness should be completed with a single use of the machine.

The design of a planer thicknesser varies according to the type but mostly consists of three parts:

Set of rollers – pulls the board through the machine
An adjustable table – helps to control the final thickness of the board
